FX is giving fans a first look at the “American Horror Story: Freak Show” cast as their characters. “Freak Show” is set to premiere Oct. 8 and stars, as you can see from top to bottom (and left to right), Sarah Paulson as a two-headed acrobat, Denis O’Hare, Kathy Bates as the bearded lady, Angela Bassett and her three breasts, Frances Conroy, Michael Chiklis as the strong man, Jessica Lange and Evan Peters. Emma Roberts, Finn Wittrock, John Carroll Lynch and Patti LaBelle also star.
Says FX of the new season: “American Horror Story: Freak Show” begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.
